Dennis E Anderson of Lincoln, NE passed away on February 14th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Milford, NE to Andy and Helen (Hutchinson) Anderson, Dennis served Burlington Northern as a police officer for 30 years and was an avid member of the Free Masons and the Sesostris Shrine.
He is survived by his two sons, Brian Anderson and husband Bart McGee of San Francisco, California, and Mark Anderson and his wife Katrin Laird with whom they share a daughter, Dennis’s beloved granddaughter, Bergen Anderson of Frisco, Colorado. He is also survived by his two sisters, Beverly Peschel and Linda Opfer, along with one nephew and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Dennis was loved and cherished by many, honorable mentions including Brian Sabatka and family.
There will be a celebration held later in his honor, following cremation. The family asks any memorials made in his honor to be donated to Tabitha Hospice Care.
