Luke Robert Weimer, 46, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was born on July 24, 1972 in Landstuhl, Germany. On May 5, 2019 Jesus took him peacefully Home to Heaven in his sleep.
Luke was a loving son to Bob and Claire Weimer, Appleton, WI and grandson to Hope Weimer; cherished brother to Leah (John) Claus, Marysville, WA; Adam (Kellie) Weimer, Dallas, TX; Anna (Jeremy) LeBresh, Green Bay, WI; Sara (Cole) Veigel, Missouri City, TX; Mary (Adam) Simonis, Appleton, WI; Seth Weimer, Dagau, Korea and Noah Weimer, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Wonderful uncle to Miah (Tucker) and son, Jax McKenney and Macy Weimer; Claire and Ava Weimer; Hudson, Wyatt, Dane, Lily and Cale LeBresh; Austin, Easton, Dean and Violet Veigel and Mila Simonis. He is also survived by his cherished girlfriend, Meredith Lindblad and daughter, Caitlyn Hawkins as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Luke graduated from Nebraska Evangelical Lutheran High School in Waco, NE and Southeast Community College in Milford, NE. He was a dependable and capable employee who loved his job and coworkers at Windstream. He enjoyed time with friends, hunting, fishing and golf. Luke was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lincoln. His faith was very important to him.
